Snakes are funny.
We had fun yesterday with our friend Garter T. Snake. We told him to hide inside the coop door and when mom-monkey opened it, she squeaked and Garter slithered into the coop. She ran and got a stick and chased him around trying to get him out, until Penny stepped on Garter and he slithered straight for mom-monkey. We’ve never heard anything scream so loud, even that time someone went ‘Ba CAWWWWWWWWWWK’ in the coop and we all shut up for 10 minutes or when that hawk got GreyBob. Garter started thinking the joke was on him so he disappeared under a nest box, then slithered toward the door. You should’ve seen that monkey trying to scare him out while keeping us in! She kept throwing corn at his tail end (yay for us!) until he finally left the coop. We’re definitely going to try that again.
